Listen up.
We're off-duty rangers who, after a long day of park rangering and interpreting our nation's history, just aren't done spitting facts and sharing truths.
The more they try to tell us what history they want us to hide from the public, the more we're just dying to share it with anyone who will listen.
Got questions? We're experts in having answers.
Tune in for short episodes where we break down the newest Executive Orders (EOs) or longer episodes where we discuss how everything going on affects your favorite public lands.

The "Valentine's Day Massacre" - One Year Later
On Valentine's Day 2025, thousands of probationary federal employees were illegally fired, including rangers in the National Park Service.
This was a cruel act, ending the careers of many passionate and skilled employees before they could truly start. Today, we honor and remember them by sharing their stories, and we will continue to fight for them.

Public Lands and Conservation feat. Aaron Murphy @American Hunters and Anglers
If you hike, swim, paint, visit museums, boat, hunt, fish, or meditate, public lands are for you. If you’ve never done any of that, public lands are still for you. Protecting our public lands means embracing lands’ many uses and users - it means protecting the heritage of hunting and fishing.
This week on Resistance Rangers On the Air, we’re talking all things public lands, hunting, and fishing with Aaron Murphy of @AmericanHuntersAnglers. Learn why we should care, why these activities are so important for maintaining healthy ecosystems, and how we fight to fund public land access.

NPS Fundamentals Training: A Eulogy
On this episode of Resistance Rangers On the Air, we’ll be covering a subject that is near and dear to the hearts of our rangers. Fundamentals is - no, was - a course promised to every ranger with permanent status. Fundamentals was more than just a privilege. For many, it was a dream.
As you’ll hear in this episode, this course opened your eyes to everything the NPS stood for and your responsibilities as a steward of resources and history, as a coworker to the dozens of types of rangers, and as a human at the heart of America’s Best Idea. But before we get into that, let’s start with the news.

Censorship, SO 3431, & Muir Woods
On May 20, DOI Secretary Doug Burgum issued Secretarial Order 3431 - “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History”. SO 3431 required all NPS sites to report any monument, memorial, statue, marker, or sign that “inappropriately disparages Americans past or living”. Without formal guidance, some park sites complied... and some did not.
The reports were made, the consequences are here, and the cavalry is not coming to save us.
